Who is Richard Lucas?
He is a business and social entrepreneur, TEDx-er, committed to supporting entrepreneurship. Richard grew up in the UK but has lived in Kraków most of his life. Most of his businesses are connected to technology. As he says he is better at getting things started up and running than running things once they are underway.

Richard founded and invested in multiple companies, among them are nowadays leading Kraków Startups. He supports the companies he has invested in or founded. These are listed on his Linkedin profile. As he says it’s about 50% of his time and 75% of his energy.
Achievements
Richard is a founder and curator of TEDxKazimierz since 2014. He has been involved in TED and TEDx events since 2009 and believes people who have not organized TEDx-es don’t really understand why doing a TEDx is so different from all other events he has organized or taken part in. He considers supporting new ventures, but read this first before approaching him. He speaks at events and host panels – diary here. He will be teaching Entrepreneurship at Krakow University of Economics MBA programme and at the Tischner European University and has done workshops for school and university students for many years.
