What is the programme?
Malopolska has flagged off the 8th edition of ‘Małopolska – where technology becomes business’. The main goal of the program is to support the Malopolska startup and creative environment by strengthening the potential of events and meetings aimed at knowledge sharing, developing competences and acquiring new skills. A total sum of PLN 500,000 has been allocated for the programme.
Who can Apply?
Event organizers of technological events, workshops, and meetings, as well as ventures in the creative industry can apply for the financial support. The events should in some way enable the growth of tech, economic development or entreprenuership in the Malopolska region. NGOs are especially encouraged to apply.
This program has been implemented since 2013. Under the previous seven editions of the program, over 120 projects have been co-financed, in which nearly 100,000 people have participated. The list of financed events include Smogathon, TEDxKazimierz, #digital fest, Dragons Cave pre-acceleration program, and InnoMaker workshops.
Please note that the event must take place in the the Malopolska region and should be conducted this year ie anytime between 1.2.2020-31.12.2020.

The last date to apply is 24 January, 2020. To explain the application process in person, an event is being organized on 14 January at Marshal’s Office of the Lesser Poland Voivodship (ul. Racławicka 56, Kraków, room 414, 4th floor). All potential applicants can attend the event but prior registration is mandatory.
