A moment to rejoice for the Krakow startup community! Talent Alpha, the HR Tech startup founded and headquartered in Krakow, has won the Startup Grand Prix award at UNLEASH World Conference & Expo held in Paris recently.
What’s UNLEASH?
Unleash World Conference & Expo held in Paris this year is one of the most important events dedicated to the future of HR Technology Solutions. With over 4,500 attendees, 250 speakers, 200 exhibitors, and 100 startups and it was the culmination of all of the UNLEASH conferences and startup competitions that took place around the world in 2019.
Why this NOT an ordinary win
Winning this award at the conference means that Talent Alpha has been recognized as the best HR Tech Startup by the creme of the HR Universe. The award’s last four winners all secured multi-million Euro funding within months of winning the UNLEASH Competition.
Why Talent Alpha Won? What do they do?
Identifying the problem: The employment market has been difficult in recent years. Good employees are hard to come by and specialists are even more so. It is particularly hard in the IT sector in Poland. Alpha Talent believes that traditional recruiting companies as well as large IT services are destroying the IT market. They merely poach talent from other players leaving the talent gap wide open. These situations mean that employers not only have to care for efficient recruitment, but also for retaining a specialist.
Human Cloud Model – The Solution: To curb this problem, they have created a technology platform called the Human Cloud Model in which, based on Talent Science, it matches IT service providers with large clients. Thanks to this, large companies can find specialists on the market more easily and efficiently.
It is a very useful tool, especially in times when there is a shortage of employees on the technology market and the traditional recruitment model is time-consuming. In the system, they will find information about what skills a person has – both in the hard and soft area. Everything is confirmed by objective, external and internal tests. In turn, specialists during the project will receive feedback on the effect of work, their progress, as well as tips on what they should still work on.
