This is the second edition of Sheep Your Hack Hackathon, organized by the College of Economics and Computer Science in Krakow. It’s a contest-like event, in which during 24 hours young people in 2-6-person teams from different academic environments will work on creating a business app with real market potential.
Despite appearances, this event is dedicated not only to programmers. The knowledge from different fields, including business environment, project management or graphic design will be priceless as well. It’s worth highlighting the fact that participants won’t be left on their own with this hard task to solve. During the event, there will be mentors who represent the business environment (e.g. business analysts, project managers, developers, workshops instructors, business managers, marketing managers, designers, etc.). They will support teams with their rich experience and knowledge.
This year’s topic is New media, sharing economy + ..?.. to be continued. The last part of it will be discovered on the day of the event so that everyone will have equal chances to win thecompetition!
The jury, consisting of experts with significant business achievements,will evaluate participants’ projects. The first three winners will be awarded the financial prizes. The prize pool is 5 250 PLN.
It’s worth mention that by joining the event you’re supporting the hakersi project, which is
aimed to get children growing up in the harsh environments an opportunity to learn
programming and robotics and help them in everyday learning.
