This AI business-oriented program aims to put the spotlight on innovative AI startups and help them with the product and business development by providing up to $100 000 free credits on Amazon Web Services, support in promotion, access to a wide network of VC funds and selected AWS clients. Additionally, Amazon Web Services will provide infrastructure and technical support along with invitations to conferences, webinars and marketing activities!
Which startups should apply?
AWS AI Challenge is looking for innovative projects with artificial intelligence (e.g. machine learning, deep learning, voice, video and image recognition etc.) at their core which will be based on at least one of the Amazon Web Services technologies such as SageMaker, Forecast, Personalize, Textract, Rekognition, ComprehendMedical, Translate, Lex, Polly, Transcribe, Comprehend, ElasticInference, Kendra and CodeGuru.
The challenge is dedicated to both developing and existing AI solutions using Amazon Web Services infrastructure for whom AWS provides additional credits, custom technical support and dedicated migration programs for solutions based on other platforms.

The best part of AWS AI Challenge is that everyone can become a finalist! The unique formula of the challenge aims to promote and support all positively assessed startups. And what will be the evaluation criteria? The projects will be assessed by the board of business and technology specialists by innovation, business support, sellability, complexity and world-changing components. The good news is, that there will be no ranking, scores or wages so all positively assessed startups of AWS AI Challenge can make it to the finals!
